Will My U.S. Order Have Import Tariffs?Updated 9 hours ago
Do I have to pay tariffs on my order?
Yes. From August 29, 2025, all orders shipped to the United States will be subject to customs duties and formal entry requirements—no matter the order size. This is because U.S. Customs has ended the small-parcel duty-free allowance.
What about the $800 duty-free limit?
The old US$800 “de minimis” exemption is gone. That means even smaller orders must now go through customs and may include duties or processing fees.
How will I be charged?
We’ll handle it for you. At checkout, all duties and customs fees are collected upfront with your shipping costs. We ship using Delivered Duties Paid (DDP), which means your charges are prepaid—you won’t usually need to pay anything extra when your package arrives.
On rare occasions, U.S. Customs may apply additional charges, but this is expected to be uncommon.
Will I need to do anything after my order ships?
Probably not. If U.S. Customs requires extra steps, we’ll make sure you receive clear instructions from us or the carrier so you know exactly what to do.
Should I be concerned?
We know this change isn’t ideal, but we’re working hard to minimise the impact and keep things simple. You’ll always be kept informed if there are any new developments.
Can I get duties back if I return my order?
Unfortunately, once duties and fees are paid, they cannot be refunded. The only exceptions are:
If you cancel your order before dispatch (you’ll receive a full refund, including duties, fees, and shipping).
If we’re responsible for the issue—for example, if your order is lost in transit or packed incorrectly.
